The Strangelings is an experimental study of movement and colour that touches on aspects of mysticism, the occult and the association between blindness, psychic capabilities and inner seeing. The series was also influenced by the striking visuals of African tribal practices surrounding mysticism, and how some of these visuals have been translated into modern Afropunk culture.
